<p>Birmingham City fans will have the chance to voice their opinion
with manager Alex McLeish at a special start of the season charity
forum organised by Banks's Brewery.</p>

<p>Supporters will be unleashed on former Scottish international,
'Big Eck,' on August 31 at the Meadway Sports and Social, Kitts
Green, from 6.30pm.</p>

<p>350 Bluenoses will be given the chance to question the clubs
decision maker at the evening, which will be hosted by BRMB radio
sports reporter Tom Ross.</p>

<p>Des Gallagher, marketing manager for Banks's, said: "We are
delighted to be involved with the football forum, there is a real
synergy between football and beer, it's a perfect match that has
been enjoyed for centuries. The forum provides a great chance for
fans to let their opinions be heard by the man that matters,
although following such a positive start to the season I'm sure
there won't be too many complaints!"</p>

<p>It is the first Banks's and BRMB football forum of the 2010
season - but footy fans needn't worry if they can't get tickets.
Various clubs will be putting their star players and management up
for the forums throughout the course of the season.</p>

<p>Tickets cost £2 - with proceeds being donated to Acorns and
Birmingham Children's Hospital - and are available from the club on
0121 770 6457 or via competitions live on BRMB or online at <a
href="http://www.brmb.co.uk/">www.brmb.co.uk</a>.</p>

<p>Black Country cricket fans can look forward to seeing four local
clubs compete against each other for free at the Banks's Floodlit
T20.</p>

<p>The floodlit contest will see Himley, Wolverhampton, Wombourne
and Old Hill Cricket Clubs playing in eight high octane Twenty 20
matches, held over five nights, to decide the region's top cricket
squad.</p>

<p>The week will represent the first time the teams have come
together for a tournament as well as the first floodlit matches
held at Himley.</p>

<p>Gordon Lewis, chairman at Himley Cricket Club, said: "Everyone
here is very excited about the tournament - it gives the teams a
real chance to showcase their skills in front of their local fan
base. Hopefully by making it a free event we will see plenty of
people that wouldn't usually come to watch the cricket getting into
the sport."</p>

<p>Joanne Wyke, Banks's Brand Manager, said: "Banks's has a long
history of supporting local sports clubs and events in the area. We
are proud to be sponsoring the tournament and as the perfect
companion at any cricket match, hope to see the thousands of fans
raising a few pints of Banks's in celebration."</p>

<p>The Banks's floodlit T20 will take place at Himley Cricket Club
from 23-27 August with matches starting at 5.30pm and 7.40pm for
the first three nights and the finals being held at 6.30pm on 26
and 27 August.</p>

<p>Admission and car parking is free.</p>
